Who really pays attention to what they are feeding their cats, or other pets? Cat food isn’t just one variety. There are a multitude of varieties, depending on the needs of your cat. My cats, for instance, are on a grain free diet. The reason for this is because I have a couple of cats that will vomit if eating anything else. So, it’s easier to have all 5 of my cats (yes, 5) on the food. It’s healthier for them, as well. Newman’s Own® has an entire line of cat food and dog food, and my cats absolutely love it! Newman’s Own® Dry Cat Food
Now, most cats don’t like change when it comes to their cat food. Sometimes, though, they just know it’s a change for the better. That was the case in my home. From the moment we put the food down, they just knew it was a good food. The dry food didn’t last long at all, as they each took their turn at the bowls, wolfing it down like they had never eaten before in their lives! I like that even the dry food is grain free. This means less mess to clean up from my cats, and their bellies feel better. It comes in two varieties:

Newman’s Own Canned Cat Food
The canned cat food comes in three varieties:
- Premium
- Beef Grain Free
- Poultry Grain Free
The Premium cat food isn’t grain free, or at least it isn’t specified on the can. But, let me tell you that my cats ate it and didn’t vomit after! That’s a win in my book. Trust me, any time my cats don’t vomit after eating, it’s a win..lol. These are the smaller cans, but depending on how you divide them between your cats, it may last a couple of feedings. Our cats only get about a teaspoon or so each, twice a day, so this can lasted the entire day.
The Beef and Poultry Grain Free foods are in the regular size cans, which are about 5.5 oz. These are the two that are grain free. There are different varieties of these, such as chicken and liver, just chicken, beef, etc. With these being grain free, I am able to feed them to my cats knowing they are getting their food without the tummy troubles. I would like to point out that these are also 95% of the main ingredients, such as chicken and liver. Rather than being full of fillers, my cat is getting the actual poultry product. I think this is pretty amazing!
