Chocolate Addiction
I have a confession to make. I have an addiction to chocolate. It’s been a problem for so many years. How do I cope, you ask? By eating chocolate from Baron Chocolatier! They have an amazing variety of candies to choose from, and will compliment any occasion.
Chocolate covered gummy bears?
Let’s start with the chocolate covered gummy bears. Lots of skepticism at first. I mean, come on, gummy bears and chocolate? We weren’t too sure! I will admit, it was a different taste. The sweetness of the chocolate combined with the fruity flavors of the gummy bears was pretty good, though. My boys sure loved it! My oldest son, who is 16, had some friends over for his birthday, and they gobbled them all up!
Five Bites….5, 4, 3, 2, 1 GONE!
The chocolate bars we are going to discuss are called 5 Bites. Just as the name suggests, they are broken into 5 bites. When you open the wrapper, you notice that the bar is scored into 5 pieces. I think this is genius, because I like to break pieces off and eat it slowly. With other bars, it’s hard to do. The bar breaks, crumbs scatter everywhere, and it makes a mess. Not with these 5 Bites bars from Baron!
What flavors?
You might be asking what varieties you can find these in. Well, sit back and read, and I will tell you just that! What I have here is three delicious flavors: Chocolate with Peanut Butter, Chocolate with Chocolate Mousse, and Chocolate with Caramel. They are simply divine! Each person in my house loves something different, so there is something for everyone.
The Chocolate with Peanut Butter isn’t your average chocolate/peanut butter variety. Nope. Not at all. You can tell that the 5 Bites bar is high quality stuff, folks. This is not made with cheap ingredients. The peanut butter isn’t crumbly at all, and it blends so well with the chocolate. Oh my…now I’m wanting one. No, I must not…..dinner is going to happen soon…
The Chocolate with Mousse is amazing. It’s not overly chocolate-y. There is more of a light, airy texture to it. I’ve never had mousse inside of a candy bar before, but I think I like it…a lot! It’s the perfect combination for the chocolate lover who doesn’t want anything else in there. You get your creamy milk chocolate bar, but that fancy mousse on the inside. Yep, I’m really wanting a 5 Bites bar… No, I can’t. Dinner will be soon….
The Chocolate with Caramel is soo delicious! Creamy caramel melts in your mouth! I had to hide some of these to keep my husband from eating them all..haha.. wait..does he read this? They are one of the best chocolate caramel bars I’ve tasted! Oh…..maybe I can sneak one before dinner and nobody will notice?
Where can I find them?
You can find these fine chocolates at several retailers. The full list can be found here. If you would rather, you can even buy them online. Many major retailers carry them. They are even popular on the celebrity scene, having been featured at the Oscars in the gift lounge!
The gummy bears are sold at Walmart, while the 5 bites are currently available at Dollar General stores 🙂
Overall, I am very pleased with this 5 Bites line of bars. I think it was a great idea to score the bars like that for ease of dividing the bars to share with others. Oh, who am I kidding, I’m not going to share my bar. It’s just not going to happen! But, I can divide it into 5 delicious, scrumptious, out-of-this-world bites!
The best part? These are amazing stocking stuffers for the upcoming holidays! You can fit them perfectly into stockings, whether it be your children’s, nieces, nephews…or your own.. Yes, I said it. I’m a grown adult, and I still have a Christmas stocking!
