About Date Night In
‘Date Night In’ was created by Megan & Brian Pruitt out of necessity. Keeping up with a 3-year-old & 6-month old as well as balancing full-time jobs did not leave much time for long date nights out on the town, therefore, the ability to find time for each other seemed to be dwindling.
Determined to keep the love alive, we designed at-home date nights and documented our journey on social media. Instantly, our friends and family asked us where we got our ideas and supplies and the orders started to roll in.
Date Night In was born and we are here to help invest in your love and take the stress and planning out of date night to create truly memorable experiences. We think out of the box each month to not just provide a “status quo” activity but a date to help you invest in your relationship.
Pricing
There are four different pricing plans:
First Date Jitters ($34.99): this is a monthly plan, with no recurring payments. You just order each month that you want it.
Getting Serious ($99.00): this is a three month plan. You pay for three months only, and by doing so, you get a bit of a discount.
Put A Ring On It ($197.00): this is a six month plan, and you pay for six months only, getting a small discount.
Forever In Love ($380.00): this is the biggest plan, a full twelve months prepaid, saving you $39.88 per year.
What’s Inside?
The Date Night In boxes aren’t just great for those that are tight on time, but also for those that are “home bodies.” My husband and I
love time together, but we also don’t care to go out much. We have a special needs son, and that also hampers our ability to go out. Each month, the box is different. The box that I received was a very pleasant one! There were several things in the box that were conducive to a lovely date night…in!
The first thing that I saw when I opened the box was a very yummy sea salt caramel, chocolate chip treat! The box also contained some lavender tea, two paper cups and a small wooden spoon. By this point, I was already in love with this box! Then, I noticed the sweet wash cloth tied with lavender, round scrubber pad and facial scrub. This was going to be a lovely evening, I just knew it!
There was a small container of homemade mint sugar lip scrub. Then, something caught my eye… a bottle of sensual massage oil! Not just any oil, mind you, but handcrafted oil with rose buds, as well as ylang ylang, jasmine & chamomile essential oils. The scent of this oil was very relaxing and sensuous.
Overall, I was very pleased with this box! It allowed my husband and I to connect, and spend quality time together after a crazy week. I would definitely recommend this box subscription to every couple, whether just starting out or having been married forever!
