I’ve never had this done before, so I have no idea what to expect. I guess I will find out shortly. Depending on the results, I will most likely end up having surgery. It’s been a struggle lately to use my hands. I’ve had to stop crocheting, which kills me because I love doing it. I’ve not been able to type as much, so my makeup very often, or pretty much anything that requires using my hands.
My Hands…
My hands have the tendency to become super sore, somewhat swollen, and numb. It’s painful to pick things up if they weigh more than about a pound. Sometimes I can’t even pick up my kitties. Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a crazy cat lady, so this is not good.
I watched a YouTube video of an EMG being performed, and I’m not going to lie, it doesn’t look pleasant..haha. It looks kind of like a meat thermometer taking the temperature to see if it’s done ? Hopefully, it won’t be too bad, and I won’t have to have it done more than once.
If you’ve ever had an EMG done, what did you think of it? What were the results?
