About Hero Clean
The idea of Hero Clean started a few years ago with an innocent run to the grocery store for laundry detergent. After trying in vain to find one that didn’t smell offensively sweet or floral – it dawned on me that nothing in the cleaning products aisle was created with guys in mind.
Guys have their own deodorants, shampoos, razors, even diet colas – but for cleaning their gear and homes? Nothing. It seems that the major cleaning products companies feel that what is good enough for our mothers’ stuff, is just fine for ours. Seems a little retro to us. Nothing against the traditional lifestyle, but things have changed a bit around here.
Currently, in the US, there are more single men than ever before – 47% of the adult male population to be exact. More men are sharing chores. More men a
re buying groceries. Layer in how different guys actually are – sweat, odor, stains and messes – it’s time for a cleaning product line that smells the way guys would like it to smell, looks the way guys would want it to look, and has the technology to handle all the manly odor, stains and messes we can throw at it.
Nobody else seemed interested in creating it, so a few of us decided to build it ourselves…and Hero Clean was born.

My Thoughts
Hero Clean has become our favorite brand of cleaner. I live in a house of males, and I am the only female. For me, the fact that this cleaner smells “manly” doesn’t bother me. In fact, I like it. It makes my teenage sons want to help clean more, so I’m on board with it..haha.
Let’s start with the laundry pods. You can smell the detergent through the pods, and it smells wonderful! They make it so easy to just throw it into the wash, and not have to mess with measuring. Definitely a convenience!
The all purpose cleaner lives on my kitchen counter. It gets used several times a day, and gets the job done every time. I love the good, clean smell, and beautiful look of my counters after using this. It works great for cleaning grease off of the stove, after cooking bacon. It really gets down deep!
The hand/dish detergent is up next. It has the same wonderful scent as the other cleaners. It is in a nice pump bottle, making it easier to use. The first thing I noticed was that it is clear! It’s free of dyes, which means less irritation for sensitive skin. it doesn’t dry out my hands, and it gets my dishes clean.
The odor eliminator has worked wonders in my boys’ bedrooms. It not only makes their room smell good, but it eliminates the odors rather than masking them. A little of this spray goes a long way, so there is definitely no need to over-do it.
Overall, I am in love with this line of cleaning products! The prices are great, and budget friendly. I plan on sticking with these products!
