My Thoughts

When the Litter-Robot arrived, I was super excited! This thing was HUGE! We have 6 cats, so this was essential. With 6 cats, came just as many litter boxes. That’s a lot of litter! We love the Litter-Robot because we don’t have to touch the litter.
The first thing that really amazed me was how easy and effortless it was to set it up. I had it up and going in under 5 minutes. It was easy to connect to our internet and get the app going. I really like that I can look at the app to see when I need to empty the tray. The Litter-Robot is truly an amazing convenience.
My kitten, Muffin, was the first to get inside and use it. To say she liked it would be an understatement. The first couple of days, I kept getting notifications of a sensor fault, and when I would check, sure enough Muffin was in there playing….haha! She was definitely having too much fun!

It took a couple of days for the other kitties to acclimate to it, but most of them came around. The exception to that is one older cat that isn’t able to climb into it (we don’t have the optional steps) and another cat that stays in my son’s room due to anxiety.
The Litter-Robot has a very convenient night light. Yes, cats can see in the dark, but hey, a little help never hurt 😉 I think it is a great feature, especially for an older cat that may have trouble seeing.
The Litter-Robot is extremely quiet, and even though it was in our bedroom the first week, we never were bothered by it running in the night. Seriously, it’s very quiet. We never heard it running. We have since moved it into our usual place in the laundry room. I like that we can basically just forget about it. Yes, we check it to make sure there’s plenty of litter, and we completely change the litter, but in between, we can forget about it. We don’t have to scoop it every day, and this is an amazing thing! Is it a little pricey? Yes. BUT, it is absolutely, completely, totally worth it!
