I personally love trying a new body wash. I think that the different scents are tantalizing, and I always find it challenging to find the perfect scent with a body wash. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. You might find “the one” that you can’t live without (until it gets discontinued!!) or you might find the one that makes you wonder how it ever made it past the development stage..haha!
With this awesome body wash from Softsoap, I don’t have to worry about getting one of the scents that make me wonder. The two scents that I received from Colgate-Palmolive were: avocado oil & iris and macadamia oil & peony. (both retail for approximately $2.97 suggested price for 15 fl oz).
The first one I tried was the macadamia oil & peony. I went with it first because I was curious. I am not a floral person, so I thought for sure I wouldn’t like it. Boy was I wrong. It really made me clean, yet moisturized and invigorated. My skin felt softer, but not oily like I thought it would. I was very impressed with the light scent. It was bold enough to know it was there, but not overpowering.
Then it was on to the avocado oil & iris. Again, with this one, I thought for sure I would not like it. It was floral after all, and I don’t do floral, y’all. I just don’t. Except now I do…haha. Well, I do floral body wash from Softsoap. The avocado oil & iris blend is quite amazing. It left me feeling awake and refreshed when I used it first thing in the morning.
You can find more information from Softsoap about the body washes by visiting their website, or by checking them out on Facebook. I really enjoyed testing these out, and trying something new. I definitely had to step out of my comfort zone and try the floral and I am glad that I did!
