My Thoughts

I received the Waterbase down-alternative pillow to try out. Even before putting water into it, it was super comfortable! The instructions are found on the back of the insert in the package. There are no teeny tiny instructions to read, but rather a nice large diagram showing you exactly what to do. It was so easy to get the pillow filled and start using it.
I put the maximum amount of water in the pillow. I like a firmer pillow, so I figured I could always take some water out if needed. So far, that has not needed done. I was happy to see that it fit my Queen pillowcases perfectly, without sticking out at all. The plug comes with a nifty tool to help get the plug off and put it back on tightly. I used room temperature water to fill the pillow, and then followed the instructions to get the air out.
One big thing I noticed, aside from the comfort level, was that the pillow stays cooler. Usually after laying on a pillow for a while, it warms with your body. With the Mediflow pillow, there is a level of coolness that keeps me comfortable. This is a huge plus for me! There is nothing worse than a hot pillow.
With the water in the pillow, it doesn’t move around easily, which is great. Usually the pillow shifts and I am readjusting it constantly. The Mediflow pillow stays put, right where you position it. Overall, this pillow is like a dream. It seriously makes me feel like I’m floating when I lay my head down. I am having to fight my oldest son for rights to the pillow..haha. I might have to break down and buy him one, since they aren’t too costly, at just $59.99.
