In the past, I always thought that photo gifts were kind of cheesy. I mean, who wants a picture on a mug? Well, Collage.com has definitely made me change my mind.

About the company

Collage.com co-founders and middle school friends Kevin Borders and Joe Golden were students at University of Michigan when Kevin ran into a problem: he wanted to create a one-of-a-kind anniversary collage for his girlfriend, Jen, and there wasn’t any software up to the task. Undaunted, he teamed up with Joe, and together they developed the software that would become Collage.com.
What began as a literal labor of love (Kevin and Jen are now married) grew into something bigger, and Kevin and Joe decided to turn their project into a business. Today, they lead a fast-growing team of more than 30 employees dedicated to making custom products easy for everyone.

Why I changed my mind

So, the reason that I changed my mind is simple: quality. In the past, all of the products I had ordered weren’t quality products. Rather, they were made as quickly as possible just to get them out the door. They would come to me and would look very sloppy and just plain horrible. Collage.com takes care of their customers. They show the customers that they are important by giving them quality products.
I was fortunate enough to get this beautiful photo blanket from Collage.com to review on my blog. I was pretty skeptical when ordering it, because of past experience. Let me tell you, when I opened the package, it took my breath away! It was beautiful. It’s definitely a gift anyone would be proud to give. I got the sherpa blanket, and it is so soft and warm. The pictures are crisp and clear on it, and none of the colors had ran or feathered. Overall, I was extremely happy with this product.
