We understand that our customers value the importance of capturing and sharing online, cherished family and personal memories, events and milestones and we feel honored to be the one selected to capture those memories.
Our experience was a great one! We arrived to the location in Carmel, Indiana on November 11. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted. Even though the photographers were with other families, they took turns greeting those who walked in. The whole time we were there, I never once saw anyone not be acknowledged. Our photographer let us know that it would be just a few minutes, while she finished up with the family she was with.
We had a seat while we waited, which gave me some time to observe. I noticed that the photographers never once made anyone feel rushed. They didn’t hurry them along, just to get to the next appointment. They made it personal for them, and kept their focus where it needed to be. While they did attempt to upsell to the families, they didn’t make them feel bad if they chose not to purchase something additional. They were very polite in this manner. I like that!
While we waited, there was an incident. A family came in extremely late for their appointment, and were told that due to this, they would have to reschedule, or they could have a seat and wait to see if they could work them in. The family was not happy with this, and kept insisting that they were being skipped over on purpose. This could have went very badly, but the photographer kept a level head, and a polite tone in her voice. She handled it with grace, and ease. She smoothed any tensions, and in the end, the family understood why they had to reschedule/wait. I was very impressed with how it was handled. It was very professional, and no raised voices were heard.
After waiting a short time, it was our turn to get our pictures taken. YAY!! I was excited because it had been about 3 or so years. Yeah, we were behind..haha. The photographer asked us what we had in mind. I really liked that, because in the past other photographers just took over and said we will do this, this and that. We did some holiday backgrounds, and the photographer didn’t make a fuss when I asked to do an American Flag background for my son. She happily accommodated! She took all of our requests and made them happen. She was super polite, and an awesome photographer!
After getting the shots, we went to a computer to make the tough decision of what to keep. I never knew it would be so hard! The photos were all so great! We finally made our decisions, and chose some greeting cards. We were told it would take around 30-45 minutes for the pictures to print, so we went and shopped until time.
When we got there to pick the photos up, she had us check them all out to make sure they were up to our standards. She took great care in packaging the greeting cards, placing envelopes in front of them and in back of them, to protect the cards. Everything was perfect! We were even able to download the app for our phone to be able to view our photos and share them online!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience, and this is definitely going to be our go-to place for photos!!
