Most of us are aware of the different soda brands. What you might not be aware of, though, is Reed’s, Inc. soda. They specialize in all types, from ginger to root beer to cola! They also have ginger candies. Keep reading for more information 🙂

Long before modern soft drinks existed, people brewed their own beverages. In the Caribbean, home brewed ginger beverages are a part of life. Reed’s brews seven carbonated ginger combinations using only the finest ingredients. The seven flavors are: Original Ginger, Extra Ginger, Premium Ginger, Raspberry Ginger, Cherry Ginger, Spiced Apple and Reed’s Stronger Ginger Brew.
The Company owns the top-selling root beer line in natural foods, the Virgil’s Root Beer product line, and a top-selling cola line in natural foods, the China Cola product line. In 2012, the Company launched its Reed’s Culture Club Kombucha line of organic live beverages. Other product lines include Reed’s Ginger Candies and Reed’s Ginger Ice Creams.
Our Thoughts….
At first I thought the ginger soda was going to be too ginger-y. It is actually not overwhelming, and has quite the pleasant taste to it. The cream soda varieties were one of my favorites, while the ginger ale varieties were my son’s favorites. The cream soda has the most smooth, magical flavor to it. There are a few different cream sodas, and what we received were: regular, orange and black cherry. The black cherry completely stole my heart! These sodas come in glass bottles, which is a rarity these days! Most other companies are using plastic.
The ginger candies were amazing, and loved by all! There were two different candies sent to us: Ginger peanut chews and crystallized ginger. The chews were very yummy and definitely chewy! They had the perfect blend of ginger and peanut. The crystallized ginger was nice as a hard candy in place of sugary candy. Even though I say “hard” candy, they aren’t rock hard like you would think. They are tender, but firm.
Overall, we were very impressed with Reed’s, Inc. I think they have great quality, great tasting products! Be sure to head on over and check them out 🙂
