Since I have started my blog, I’ve been introduced to many great companies.  One of those companies is The Little Bamboo.
Their storefront on Amazon has something for everyone.
I had the opportunity to review four items for them:
Konjac Sponge, 3pk., $11.97
Bamboo Charcoal Soap, 3pk., $21.97
Women’s Bamboo Socks, 5pk., $16.97
Bamboo Placemats, 4pk, $14.97
I was very impressed with all of the items. I will go through them each individually 🙂
First up is the Konjac Sponge. When i first got this, I thought for sure it was some weird new age, whatever it was kind of thing. I had no idea how it would even consider working. But, I will admit, that I was very impressed with how easy it is to use. All you have to do is soak it for about a minute or less, until it turns into a regular sponge. konjac
It feels kind of weird at first, somewhat squishy. But once you get used to the feel, it’s actually kind of neat. I mean, seriously, how cool is it that this sponge can go from a hard, dry, piece of something that looks like it would disintegrate, to a soft, squishy sponge. It was super soft on my face as well. I’m sure you can choose not to use any facial cleanser on it, as some just use plain water on their face. I personally used the awesome bamboo charcoal soap that I received with the sponges. The Konjac sponge glides smoothly over your face, leaving it clean and soft. This is a definite must have in my daily cleansing routine from now on! Now on to the soap…
The Bamboo Charcoal soap is pretty amazing in and of itself. I thought my day was made with the Konjac Sponge, then I used the soap with it. The soap lathers nicely, with a pleasant scent. You can definitely tell that it is not a commercially made soap, in that it is hand wrapped and labeled. It leaves my skin feeling clean, and without residue. I was left feeling fresh and smelling good. I mean, that’s all we really want out of a soap, right? Who wants to use a soap and be left feeling dingy and dirty? Thankfully, that is definitely NOT the case with this Bamboo soap!

To go with the fabulous soap and sponge, I also received some pretty amazing bamboo socks! **Disclaimer** My feet look weird in the forthcoming pictures..haha! I’ve never taken pictures of my feet before, so I was pretty weirded out when I saw them..lol.

I put these socks on, and I am telling you, I didn’t want to take them off. They aren’t the full size socks like you would wear with sneakers, but rather the “half” socks that you would use with flats or loafers. I wondered how they would stay put, since they didn’t go all the way up like regular ankle socks. It turns out that in the back of the sock, there is a small patch of silicone to keep them in place. They fit fabulously, and I wore them all day, even with my sandals..haha.

These socks are not detectable when you are wearing loafers. I tested this theory. I put on the socks, then put on my favorite purple loafers. Lo and behold, you couldn’t see the socks. I was pretty impressed! I definitely give these two thumbs up!

The last thing I am going to talk about is the beautiful Bamboo place mats I received. These place mats will make any place setting look professional. I love that they can be rolled up and stored in between uses as well. They are easy to wipe clean. These are the perfect addition, just in time for the holidays!
