Top 5 Monthly Menstrual Needs

So, it’s that time of the month again. Auntie Flo has come for a visit and brought her friends with her. You know her friends, Achy, Crampy, Grouchy, and Bloaty. They come with Auntie Flo every month for a visit. Sometimes they just come for a short visit, and sometimes they stay for a week or so. It’s always an awful visit, and you just want them to leave but they never do. So, instead, you have to suck it up and just find ways to be more comfortable while they are there!

Feminine Needs

When Auntie Flo’s visit comes, you want to be sure to have a good stock of feminine products on hand. There’s nothing worse than running out of this stuff and having to make a grocery store run.  You have a lot of choices when it comes to feminine products. You can choose from any range of products, including pads, organic pads, tampons, or organic tampons. It all depends on your personal preference. Just make sure to have a good stock of them!

Hot Water Bottle

Auntie Flo’s friends, Achy, Bloaty and Crampy, can be horrendous house guests and cause you much discomfort. Keeping a hot water bottle on hand can help tame these guys down. Hot water bottles provide relief for those monthly cramps and stomachaches. It might even be a good idea to keep more than one on hand, to treat multiple areas.

Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen

You are going to want either acetaminophen or ibuprofen to help with the achy cramps. You would do well to keep both on hand, and alternate them every 4 hours, or as directed on the bottle. It’s never a good idea to let pain and misery get out of hand. It’s better to keep it under control, than to let it get out of control. Once you let it get out of control, it’s extremely hard to reign it back in.

Chocolate

Chocolate is a very necessary thing to have when Auntie Flo and her friends are visiting! It’s comforting, and you definitely deserve to be comforted and pampered during their visit. There is no limit to the kind of chocolate, or the form you want it in. It can be milk chocolate (my personal favorite) or dark chocolate, or whatever chocolate! Just pamper yourself!

Wine

Wine. Need I say more?
