Who has children? Silly question, but do your children like to play with toys? And how long do those toys usually last before needing replaced? That’s what I thought. Not long enough, right?

Best Choice Products sent me some toys to feature here on my blog, so I can attest first hand to the quality of their products. My children are teenagers, so they won’t play with the toys sent to me, but do you want to know a secret? *I have played with the toys* haha!! What can I say, I am a kid at heart! Seriously, though, I did play with them, because how else can I write an honest review? Let’s take a look, shall we?
First up is the Red Horse Hopper, retail price $19.99. This is probably the cutest thing ever! What toddler isn’t going to love this? It is made of thick rubber, so it won’t “blow out” at the first sign of jumping. It’s not huge, so it won’t take up a ton of room, either. It’s super easy to put together, just pump it up using the included hand pump, and place the “stopper” in to prevent the air from coming back out. Then you just let your little one hop and hop and hop, and hopefully they run their energy out and sleep very well that night…haha!
The Toy Sword and Armor (retail $24.95) are a set that any child would love to play with. I mean, who wouldn’t love to drive their parents crazy with noise and lights? This is the perfect gift for a child in the 4-8 age range! It does take batteries, a ton of them, it seems. 6 AA in total. Ok, fine, it isn’t a ton, but still… It makes fun noises and lights up, so the kiddos will have a blast with this set!
The 100 Pc Wooden Train Set (retail $44.95) is going to be fun for some child to play with. There are many, many parts, which come bagged nice and organized. Until the kiddos get ahold of it…haha.. Then it’s a free-for-all and you will be lucky to find half of the parts. The parts interlock nicely, without any small gadgets or easily breakable pieces. It is NOT electronic, which for some is a drawback, but for others not so much. The fact that it isn’t electronic will help to foster the imaginary play that some children struggle with. This set has landscape pieces so that they can decorate it how they choose. As I said earlier, the pieces are organized, and to make it easy, they put those pieces in zip top bags. This is sure to make a child’s eyes light up on Christmas 🙂
As I stated above, my boys are teenagers, so they won’t play with these things. So, I decided that I would donate them. There is a fantastic lady here in my little town that organizes a toy drive, kind of like Toys For Tots, every year at Christmas. These gifts are perfect for that! I am excited to be able to help out!
