About Sally Hansen
It was in the late 1950s when Sally Hansen, together with her chemist husband, pioneered a nail protection formula called Hard As Nails. Touted as “the nail clinic in a bottle,” Hard As Nails established Sally Hansen as what is now the number one brand of nail care.
From the beginning, Sally Hansen prided itself on producing quality nail care. The philosophy was simple: educate the consumer and develop quality, practical products that were competitively priced and easy to use.
While Hard As Nails continues to be a best seller, Sally Hansen has developed into the leading mega brand of nail treatment and color.
Today, the brand offers consumers solutions for every nail care problem and every manicure and pedicure need, with innovative products that incorporate the latest treatment technologies.
At Sally Hansen we have our fingers on the pulse of what’s new and fresh, partnering with top fashion designers to create and/or coordinate nail color as an accessory to their latest collections.
Consumers trust Sally Hansen to provide the best nail treatment and color that sets the trends.
My Thoughts
I was sent a package of Sally Hansen products to try out. My favorite thing is the nail polishes. I love getting my nails done, and I love trying new colors! They sent some beautiful colors, ranging from a clear coat to a beautiful dark purple/gold shimmer. Their polish dries pretty quick, which means I don’t worry so much about messing up my nails while it’s drying. With a lot of the colors, even though it says to use 2 coats, I can get away with just using one coat because the color is so rich and beautiful.
They also sent some airbrush for my legs, and some waxing strips. I tried out the wax strips, and they are super easy to use! You literally just peel and stick. You don’t have to mess with the wax, as they are already pre-made for you. They worked great for things like facial hair (admit it, we all have it!). I did try it on my legs, but these weren’t designed for the legs, so it didn’t really work. The airbrush did, however! I can use it to hide flaws, such as veins and bruises. Is it a cover all? Nope. But it helps to minimize the appearances of the blemishes. I’m ok with that 🙂
