These apples are huge! Seriously, they are huge! I put one on the kitchen scale before digging in, just so you could see how much just one of these weighs. Nearly 12 ounces for just one apple! And look at the pretty way it is packaged. The stick has a plastic straw-like container on it to keep it safe, and they even put a cute bow on it! How cute!
I am sure you are thinking “Yeah, yeah, you showed us how it came to you, but how does it taste?” Oh Em Gee!! These taste amazing! The flavor is wonderfully yummy! The apple has just the right amount of caramel to make it taste delicious, but not too much to make it messy. It cut like a dream, and the apple was still crisp! I seriously did not expect that. I mean, come on, this apple was traveling, and I fully expected it to have started going bad. Boy was I surprised. It was still ice cold and crisp. It snapped when I bit into it.
Just look at that! The secret, I think, is in the packaging. The apples came to me in a cold pack, to keep them fresh. They had stayed cold, freezing cold, the entire trip here.
