These rolls are soooo good! And they don’t take long at all to make!
1 c plus 2 T warm water
1/3 c oil
2 T yeast
1/4 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
3 1/2 c bread flour (all purpose will work, too)
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine water, oil, yeast and sugar in mixing bowl. Let rest for 15 minutes. Using the dough hook on your mixer, mix in the salt, egg and flour. Knead with hook until well incorporated and the dough is soft and smooth.
Form dough into 12 balls and place into greased 9×13 pan (or any pan, really) and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
Bake for 10 minutes at 400 degrees or until golden brown.
Ok, I realize that this recipe is technically 35 minute rolls 😛 but they are still amazingly easy! I just made these this morning for the dinner after my Grandfathers funeral service. R.I.P. Grandpa Jenkins, we love and miss you! <3
